The legendary Hotel Jugoslavija in Belgrade, the most modern and best-equipped hotel in socialist Yugoslavia, is entering a new era of its existence. By all indications, this icon will transform into the prestigious Ritz-Carlton hotel, part of Marriott International, although the group has yet to confirm this:
"We are optimistic that our growth will encompass locations in Serbia, and while there are numerous positive discussions underway regarding expanding our brand portfolio in this key market, we are currently unable to share more details about potential future development plans," - say representatives from Marriott to our portal.
Nevertheless, what is certain is that the implementation of this project has engaged the Dutch architectural firm UNStudio, which is behind numerous well-known buildings, including the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart and the Central Station building in Arnhem.
