She spoke on Wednesday in Belgrade during the opening of the inaugural conference of the South East Europe Strategic Alliance for Rail Innovation (SEESARI).
“The current projects are worth over EUR 1.5 billion, and the construction of the Belgrade-Budapest rail line almost EUR 1 billion, and it is our task to consider the innovations we can apply, “ Mihajlovic told reporters in the building of the public enterprise for rail transport Zeleznice Srbije (Serbian Railways), which is going through an overhaul.
The SEESARI conference, which brought together around 70 participants from 14 countries, is organized by the International Union of Railways (UIC), Zeleznice Srbije, and the Institute of Traffic and Transport Ljubljana.
