Participating in the round table "Abolition of the Fee for Using a Building Land" organized by the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), Bisic said that the fee for using a building land was not a good tax solution, particularly considering that their amount varied from municipality to municipality. - Key changes in the amendments to that law concern the determination of property tax base, which will be the local land market value that will be determined on the basis of an appraisal done by the local self-government - Bisic announced. Municipalities will be obligated to assess the market value of land by zones in their territory once a year, which juristic persons will use as the base to calculate and pay the property tax, Bisic explained.
